What is ÉliminÉ?
ÉLIMINÉ ( eh-lim-in-nay)
The outcome is a physical magazine with digital content. People like to have a physical magazine, as shown by my research, but the environmental effects of printing new 30,40,50 page magazines every week, month, quarter is insane. So how do yout solve the problem?
ÉLIMINÉ ( eh - lim - in -nay) will have the consumer buy one physical copy of the magazine and using augmented reality will display the pages digitally for people to read. The EYEJACK app uses the camera and image recognition to display digital artwork in real time through your phone.
Whenever a new issue is released, the consumer will not have to do anything, but scan the pages as they would and the content will have updated to the new issue automatically. This then provides them with a consumer with a new set of content without having new paper costs, printing costs, and environmental costs.
Another aspect that would be removed by ÉLIMINÉ ( eh - lim - in -nay)
would be carbon dioxide emissions from having to ship the new issues all over the world. Because shipping times not need to be considered, this also allows the business more time to work on content, because the new issue only needs to be uploaded, and it is already there for everyone who has the physical copy.
